TMP Kids

TMP Kids is all about helping children experience God’s love in fun, safe, and engaging ways.

From caring for infants and toddlers to leading small groups, teaching Bible lessons, welcoming families, or supporting with music and tech, there are many ways to get involved. Whether you enjoy holding babies, telling stories, leading worship, or running sound and lights, there’s a place for you to make a difference in the lives of kids. Most roles take place on Sunday mornings at 10 AM, with flexible schedules available.

Caregiver | Infant Room

Description: Care for Infants

Involvement: Sunday mornings at 10 AM, either weekly or biweekly

Description: Teach a bible based lesson to Grades 1-4 kids with the help of curriculum

Description: Lead an age specific group of kids between Grades 1-4

TMP Youth

TMP Youth

TMP Youth is all about creating a safe, fun, and welcoming space where students can explore faith, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Serving with our youth means investing in the next generation, whether through mentoring, leading small groups, helping with events, or simply showing up to support and encourage teens on their journey. Join the team and make a lasting impact in the lives of students.

Female Small Group Leader | Middle School

Description: Give spiritual care and guidance to a consistent group of girls in Grades 5-8.

Involvement: Monday evenings, plus phone calls, hangouts, and annual events.

Male Small Group Leader | Middle School

Description: Give spiritual care and guidance to a consistent group of boys in Grades 5-8.

Involvement: Monday evenings, plus phone calls, hangouts, and annual events.

Female Small Group Leader | High School

Description: Give spiritual care and guidance to a consistent group of girls in Grades 9-12.

Involvement: Friday evenings, plus phone calls, hangouts, and annual events.

Male Small Group Leader | High School

Description: Give spiritual care and guidance to a consistent group of boys in Grades 9-12.

Involvement: Friday evenings, plus phone calls, hangouts, and annual events.

Host | Middle School + High School

Description: Host the services for Middle School or High School on Monday evenings or Friday evenings, including running a large group game.

Involvement: Once or twice a month.

Teacher | Middle School

Description: Plan and execute a relevant, biblical teach during the Middle School or High School services on Monday evenings or Friday nights.

Involvement: Once or twice a month.

Sunday Morning Leader | Middle School

Description: Care for a group of middle school students (grades 5-8) during our Sunday morning worship service at either 9 am or 11 am.

Involvement: Once or twice a month.

Youth Worship Band | Vocals, Keys, Drums, Guitar, Bass

Description: Lead youth in sung worship alongside a team of other worship leaders.

Involvement: Once or twice a month.

Operations

Operations

Behind the scenes, our Operations Team keeps everything running smoothly at The Meeting Place.

From setting up and tearing down spaces, to assisting with facility needs, event logistics, or administrative support, serving in operations is a hands-on way to help our community thrive. If you enjoy working practically, being organized, or making sure details are taken care of, there’s a place for you on the Operations Team.

Drivers and Delivery Persons | Facilities

Description: Occasional need for drivers with vehicles to pick up items for repair and maintenance of the church, and at times, to pick up food donated for our Common Cupboard food bank.

Involvement: When needed or for scheduled Common Cupboard times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, bi-weekly.

Various Trades Persons | Facilities

Description: Occasional need for painter, plumber, electrician, welder, etc.

Involvement: When needed or scheduled work days.

Welcome Team

Welcome Team

Our Welcome Team is the first point of connection for everyone who walks through the doors at The Meeting Place.

From greeting guests with a smile, to helping with check-in, answering questions, or guiding people to where they need to go, this team creates a warm and inviting atmosphere on Sundays. If you love meeting new people and making others feel at home, the Welcome Team is the perfect place to serve.

Usher

Description: Greet and guide people to available seats before and during the service. Keep track of available seating as the auditorium fills. Do a count of the congregation after the Middle School kids are dismissed. Provide guidance to attendees regarding things like; washroom location, Welcome Centre location, find a bible… serve with a “How Can I Help” attitude.

Involvement: Sunday mornings 9:20AM – 11:30 AM. We meet at 9:20AM for a short time of prayer prior to serving. 

Host

Description: Provide leadership to the Welcome Team and fill in if required. Provide prayer and encouragement to the team. Serve with a “How Can I Help” attitude.

Involvement: Sunday mornings at 9:20AM – 11:45AM. We meet at 9:20AM for a short time of prayer prior to serving, which will be lead by you, the Host.

Welcome Centre

Description: Answer questions, take registrations and donations. Provide assistance with debit machine as required. Serve with a “How Can I Help” attitude.

Involvement: Sunday mornings 9:20AM – 11:45AM. We meet at 9:20AM for a short time of prayer prior to serving.

Security

Description: Greet people at the door, and guide attendees toward ushers. Do a walk through of the building every 20 minutes to ensure safety. provide safety at the door and restrict entry to those attending for worship/event. Be a direct liaison between TMP and police/cadets/downtown biz/fire department in the event that they are called to TMP. Serve with a “How Can I Help” attitude.

Involvement: Sunday mornings from 9:20AM – 11:45AM. We meet at 9:20 for a short time of prayer prior to serving.

Main Stage Team

Main Stage Team

The Main Stage team helps lead our community in worship and teaching on Sundays. Whether through music, vocals, drama, or other creative elements, this team uses their gifts to point people toward Jesus in meaningful and inspiring ways.

If you have a passion for worship, creativity, or the arts, serving on the Main Stage is a powerful way to make an impact.

Tech Team: Media

Description: Come be a part of leading worship from behind the scenes as you help make the service happen. Be part of the team by controlling the slides for song lyrics, teaching slides and videos. If you have an interest we can train you! We’re looking for team players who are eager to learn! Comfort with computers is a must.

Involvement: You will serve at least one Sunday a month.

Tech Team: Sound

Description: Come be a part of leading worship from behind the scenes as you help make the service happen. Be part of the team by mixing the sound for our Sunday gatherings in the room and online. If you have an interest we can train you! There’s a lot to learn, but we will gladly teach you. Comfort with computers is a must.

Involvement: You will serve at least one Sunday a month as well as the Thursday before for rehearsal.

Music Team (Vocalists, Electric Guitar, Keys)

We are looking for a number of musicians to join the music team. If you sing, play drums, piano, guitar, or bass we would love to hear from you. Experience playing in a band is preferred though not necessarily required. If you would like to hear more please contact Joel Jolly with any questions you might have, or to set up an audition.

Description: Come be a part of leading worship from behind the scenes as you help make the service happen. Be part of the team by set up and controlling the lights during our Sunday gatherings. If you have an interest we can train you! We’re looking for team players who are eager to learn! Comfort with computers is a must.

Involvement: You will serve at least one Sunday a month.

Description: Livestreaming our service every week means we need people aiming the cameras as well as switching between feeds up in the tech booth. If you are interested in joining the team, let's chat!

Description: We want people to see what’s happening at TMP. Lending your skills of photography and videography help us to tell that story. Whether you are already a professional or still growing in your skills, we’d love to have you serving in this way.
